TOPIC: Integrating Dental Photography Into Your Practice
Dental photography is one of the most powerful tools to educate patients as to their treatment needs. Dr. Rasmussen will be presenting the benefits, tools and techniques of incorporating dental photography in your practice. Emphasis will be given to the selection of the appropriate camera system based upon the office’s specific needs as well as real world techniques to effectively and efficiently manage the digital workflow.
Dr. Richard A. Rasmussen, Jr. Short Biography: Established in 1982, Dr. Richard A. Rasmussen, Jr. practices periodontics and implant dentistry in Florida with three offices in Clearwater, South Tampa and North Tampa. Dr. Rasmussen earned his baccalaureate in chemistry and doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received several academic awards. He then received his specialty training in periodontology from the University of Alabama, with a joint appointment to the Veterans Administration Hospital. He has authored articles in The Journal of Dental Research, The Journal of the Florida Dental Association, Implantology Update, and The Journal of Craniofacial Surgery. Additionally, he authored a textbook entitled “The Brånemark System of Oral Reconstruction: A Clinical Atlas”. Dr.Rasmussen lectures throughout the year to both local and national study clubs. He is also the director of the Seattle Study Club, Tampa chapter.
